A very successful AGM was held on 18 November at the Bundanoon club. It was attended by just under 50 members many of whom renewed their membership on the day. We have a membership of 400 and aim to double that.

Peter EllsmoreThe report delivered by the chairman Peter Ellsmore underlined the fact of the massive change from a deficit in previous years to a modest profit. (A deficit in 2017 of -$66,739 to a profit of +$8,059 in 2018). It must be noted that this profit was achieved despite the fact that much upgrading had occurred during the year as detailed in the report on this website.

While particular thanks were given to both Peter Ellsmore (Chairperson) and Stephen Granger (Deputy Chairperson), our cook Arnie Fabiano received by way of applause thanks for the improvements that he is doing in the kitchen.

The current board was reappointed for the next term of office. It is certainly true that all members of the board have been active in their various portfolios and generous in their time and skills that are given to our club.

Our aim continues to be to develop the club as a place of “venue of choice” rather than relying on the loyalty of members and to this end, Peter indicated there is no time for complacency despite the massive improvements made.

It is with great pleasure that the Bundanoon Bowling Club can advise the community that they have been successful in obtaining a community assistance grant totaling $5,200.00 from the Wingecarribee Shire Council to assist in covering costs to upgrade their No.1 Bowling Green and maintain their mowing equipment to a high standard.

President, John Witney received their entitlement certificate for the grant at a ceremony on Wednesday 1' August 2018 at the Council Chambers.

The "Club Ltd" has also received a grant of $2,650.00 from the NSW Office Of Sport for the purchase of a Jack Attack license and a Bowls Kit which will allow them to host and conduct social fun bowls events both inside the club and on the green's.

This specialized set of bowls and license will foster the future of the game of bowls in our community.

This grant has been possible with the help from James Berriman [Bowls NSW] and the office of the Hon. Pru Goward MP Member for Goulburn.

With the approval of this grant and assistance of WSC and the faith shown in the club to serve our community it is hoped that Patronage will increase to enjoy the club's facilities and the game of bowls for the future.
